The HOSA competitive program is known as LFC United.

These teams are formed via tryouts held at the end of the spring season and conducted by the LFC United coaching staff. Each player will receive a summary evaluation including either an invitation to join a specific LFC team, or a recommendation for the HOSA program best suited to that player's demonstrated level of development.  Every player accepting an invitation to join the LFC team is expected to commit to participating for a full-year.

LFC is a program with specific expectations regarding player development. Teams will be assigned to League and Tournament play by the Technical Staff at the level deemed most appropriate for their current stage of development. Teams will play both a fall and spring season (including end of season league tournaments), participate in external tournaments (generally newer teams will play locally while experienced teams have the opportunity to travel outside of central Ohio). There are also a variety of training opportunities throughout the calendar year open to LFC players.

All LFC United teams are treated similarly: each has a Professional Coach; each has the same number of training sessions; each is taught from the same player development plan and all teams wear the same uniform. We believe this player centric philosophy to be unique among clubs in this region.
