Recreational Referees
HOSA has brought recreational referee training in-house, rather than asking you to annually attend classes for which you have to pay to be licensed. There is no charge to register as a HOSA Recreational Referee.
Anyone who will be turning 13 years of age this calendar year or older interested in being an HOSA Recreational referee is eligible. Please see the box to the right for up to date seasonal information.
All Referees will be required to have an up to date concussion in sports certificate. A copy of this certificate must be provided to HOSA.

On Field Trainings
We are expanding our referee training to include more on-field experience. If you are a new referee to HOSA Rec you must attend 2 trainings. All returning referees are required to attend 1 unless you are a certified Grade 8 (or better) referee.
