Jay Dearth
Executive Director |
Jay was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but spent his childhood moving through the United States. He went to high school in Cincinnati where he played baseball. He has three boys, two of which have played in the HOSA organization. Jay's younger brother played competitive soccer, and it was through traveling to and watching those games that Jay developed a love for the sport. Jay works locally for a large financial institution, where he manages a team tasked with the analysis for complex financials. He has experience serving on the Board of the Columbus Opera, and enjoys seeing the success of non profits such as HOSA. |

Kim Gajda HOSA Administrator ![]() |
Kim is originally from western Pennsylvania and relocated to the Columbus area in 1991. Kim became involved with HOSA in 2005 when both of her sons started playing soccer in the HRSL program before both playing on HFC teams. During her sons’ time playing soccer Kim participated in many roles, some of which involved parent administrator, tryout volunteer, and member of the uniform committee. Her involvement as a volunteer led to her roles as HOSAs administrative assistant and now as HOSAs administrator. Professionally, she brings experience in customer service, bookkeeping, and office management in addition to experience as a business education teacher. |

Jake grew up in Dayton Ohio, played club for the Warriors SC and Team Dayton. Played 4 years at Wright State D1, and professionally for Cincinnati Kings and Dayton Dutch Lions in the USL.
Coaching Highlights at Wright State • Led Wright State University to a historic milestone in 2019 by securing the Horizon League Tournament Championship, marking the first time in the school's history. • Steered the team to a remarkable NCAA Tournament 1st round victory over Notre Dame in 2019, creating a defining moment for the university's soccer program with its first-ever NCAA Tournament win. • Recognized for coaching excellence and awarded the prestigious Horizon League Coach of the Year in 2018, highlighting ability to lead and inspire players to achieve their best. • Achieved a remarkable RPI ranking of 16th in the country in 2018, attaining the highest RPI in the history of the university's sports programs and solidifying Wright State's place among the top soccer programs in the nation. • 2 Horizon League Championship • Successfully recruited and mentored 4 MLS Draft Picks (Most ever) • Holds multiple coaching licenses (Premier, Advanced National & National Diploma)
